Marietta Daily Journal Reports Sale of Merchant’s Exchange
Columbia Properties purchasing Merchant’s Exchange for $17 million is such big news for East Cobb County that the Marietta Daily Journal decided to do a feature on the transaction. They gave an overview of the purchase and details behind the finances. They even interviewed Mike Rieman from Flammer Relations for the article.
Columbia Properties is extremely pleased with the purchase because, under the circumstances, it is a great investment. Despite the current state of the economy, the shopping center is 98% leased. And, good news for the current tenants and their patrons, the commercial real estate company has no intentions of changing Merchant’s Exchange anytime soon.
Anyone who currently lives in East Cobb County or has been visiting the area with intentions of relocating knows Merchant’s Exchange for the LA Fitness and Picture Show Movie Theater. There are a few other retailers, like Quizno’s Subs, Nail Pros, Casabella and Hancock Fabrics to name a few, but LA Fitness and the movie theater are the anchor of the shopping center. Feel free to stop by and see what $17 million worth of real estate looks like!
