Luxury Custom Homes Above Peachtree

june-image-smallWhen Nossi Taheri saw the design of Sovereign, he knew the Peachtree Road high-rise condominium development was where he wanted to create a unique, custom home.

“I wasn’t planning to purchase a condo but saw the beautiful design of the building and visited the sales office. Within an hour, I knew I wanted to have a place there,” he said.

He had one stipulation-Taheri, who had designed his Mediterranean style single-family home in Buckhead wanted to buy a shell of a unit and design the entire interior himself.

“I got in before the building was complete, so the developers were willing to let me create my own space. They cooperated with everything, including moving the plumbing pipes when I changed the location of the bathrooms,” he said.

Taheri collaborated with an architect to create a unique home using materials from around the world. The project took a year to complete.

The floor is made of 24 x 24 inch polished limestone from Spain. The custom kitchen was made in Germany. The master bathroom vanity is a massive piece of recycled glass created in Canada.

Taheri has high praise for the Sovereign staff who worked closely with him to handle any issues that arose during construction.

“I cannot say enough about the quality of service I’ve received at Sovereign. Any time I needed anything, the concierge would take care of it,” he said.

Concierge services are just one of the perks that residents of Sovereign enjoy.

Residents receive a paid membership in The Buckhead Club, located on the 26th floor of the building.

The 82 residences begin on the 28th floor and feature floor-to-ceiling windows and large terraces that give residents 30-mile views. Homes range in size from more than 1,700 square feet to more than 10,000 square feet and start at $1 million.

In addition to its distinctive exterior, the building boasts a luxurious interior decorated with a permanent collection of museum-quality contemporary art created and hand-picked by internationally recognized artist Todd Murphy.

“The architectural design and beauty of Sovereign stands out. It’s a wonderful addition to a beautiful city,” Taheri said.
