Leland Homes Building Enclave of Courtyard Homes in Marietta

Construction of the first homes is well underway in Sandtown Village, a gated enclave of 22 low maintenance courtyard homes on Sandtown Road inside the city limits of Marietta. Located just a few minutes from Exit 261 of Interstate 75, Sandtown Village is being developed by Oakley Development. The community features award-winning floor plans which are being constructed by Leland Homes, an award-winning home builder based in Marietta. The opening of the decorated model featuring the work of the award-winning design firm, DMD Designs, will take place during September.

With prices starting in the mid $200,000s, the unique open plans offered include The Whitlock, a two-story design with the master suite on the main floor, and The Bentley, a ranch plan. The two to four-bedroom plans are described as luxurious, private courtyard homes with main level living, with the owner’s suite overlooking and opening onto the private courtyard. Another innovative feature of each home is the casita, a small, detached house complete with a full bath, which can be utilized for a guest suite, media room, exercise room, office, artist’s studio, or teenager’s retreat. Homes also include a large island kitchen which opens to the gathering room, a large walk-in shower with a bench seat in the master bath, and an attached two-car garage. Community amenities include two passive parks.
