Legendary Developer Steve Selig to Speak, Receive Award
Selig Enterprises President and Chairman Steve Selig is receiving a significant honor. He’ll be inducted into the REIAC/GSU Hall of Distinction on Thursday, Nov. 15 at the Westin Buckhead. Cocktails and networking start at 5, followed by a presentation on the past, present and future of the “Midtown Mile.”
Selig is a legend of the Atlanta real estate community. His developments include 12th & Midtown, a 3.8 million square foot office, residential and retail project being developed in partnership with the Daniel Corporation, MetLife and the Canyon-Johnson Urban Fund. In addition, Selig is also well-known for an impressive number of efforts to serve the community.
The Hall of Distinction is one of many joint efforts between the Real Estate Investment Advisory Council (REIAC) and Georgia State University’s Real Estate Department. REIAC is a national non-profit trade association comprised of real estate owners and senior executives of institutions and real estate investment funds who, acting as principals, are primarily engaged in the areas of equity transactions and debt origination. This is one of the group’s few events that are open to the public each year.
