Lane Company Honored for Helping the Hungry

Lane Company has won the award for Most Food Items Collected in the 2007 Atlanta Apartment Association Food-a-Thon. The Food-a-Thon benefits the Atlanta Community Food Bank. Property management companies from all over the Metro area compete to see who can collect the most non-perishable food. Lane has won the award 14 of the past 15 years. This year they had some extra help; employees of the Georgia World Congress Center Authority donated enough food to make thousands of meals. The efforts of all the participating companies added up to more than 4 million meals for the needy.
