Lakefront Park Under Construction at Heron Bay

Construction is now underway on the much anticipated Lakefront Park at Heron Bay Golf & County Club. The five acre park, located along the shores of Henry County’s 1,100-acre Cole Reservoir, will include a covered picnic pavilion with catering kitchen and baths and two outdoor fire-pits with grassed sitting areas. The target opening date for the large park is Spring 2008.

The lakefront park is one of the most spectacular amenities at Heron Bay. Heron Bay is adjacent to the 1,100 acre Henry County Cole Reservoir and Heron Bay residents have access to non-motorized or electric trolling motor boating from Henry County’s boat ramp located within 5 minutes of Heron Bay. Several of the homesites in Heron Bay are located along the shores of the lake offering spectacular views and vistas. And, two of the golf holes at Canongate at Heron Bay, #3 and #13 offer long, sweeping views over the water.
