July Marks 43 Years for Traton Homes

Traton HomesJuly is a special month for Traton Homes as it celebrates 43 years of building new homes in Atlanta! Founded in 1971 by brothers Bill and Milburn Poston, Traton Homes has been a leader in the Atlanta real estate market for over four decades and continues to grow by expanding its offerings with new homes in St. Simons Island, Georgia and coming soon, Charlotte, North Carolina.   Traton’s homes are priced from the $200’s to the $800’s.

Since the beginning, Traton Homes has been a family-owned company. Sons, Clif and Chris continue Traton’s legacy while Poston mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Nellie Clifford Poston, who has been an integral part of the company’s success over the years, continues to come to work nearly every day at the age of 95. Mrs. Poston’s dedication has been such an inspiration, that in 2013, Traton Homes launched Nellie Poston Custom Homes in her honor.

In addition to its venture into custom home building, Traton Homes also builds stunning coastal homes in Frederica on St. Simons Island as well as disaster recovery homes in Texas. Currently, Traton Homes is expanding into Charlotte, North Carolina.

Over the years, Traton Homes has built a reputation based on reliability, quality and exceptional value – delivering “Altogether More” to thousands of metro Atlanta home buyers.
