In special festivities scheduled Tuesday, March 25, Johns Creek Walk will observe the unveiling of two original stainless steel horse sculptures in one of its parks and host a Grand Opening luncheon for realtors introducing The Residences of Johns Creek Walk, a new mixed use neighborhood. The sculpture dedication will take place at 10 a.m. in Millwork Park and will feature the work of North Georgia-based artist Eric Strauss, who will be on hand for the occasion. Millwork Park will become the permanent home of “Sun”and “Angel”, produced by the sculptor who also has his work at such locations as the Georgia Museum of Art, Mason Murer Fine Art, and Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport as well as numerous private collections. More information about Strauss can be found at www.strausssculpture.com/index.html.

Also expected to attend the dedication are Johns Creek Mayor Mike Bodker, Mayor Pro Tempore Bev Miller, President Richard Aaronson and Vice President Andrew Aaronson from Richard Aaronson Signature Homes, the builder of the townhomes (see photo), and members of the Ocee Community Arts Center. The Grand Opening Realtor luncheon will take place from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. and will introduce realtors from North Fulton, East Cobb, West Gwinnett, South Forsyth and other nearby areas to the two new decorated townhome models in The Residences of Johns Creek Walk. There will be tours of the model homes, selected inventory homes and amenities. Hosted by Richard Aaronson Signature Homes, the event will feature a gourmet luncheon of sliced beef of baron, iced shrimp with lemon, hot smoked crab dip, chicken satays, marinated vegetable and pasta salads, fresh fruit with pastries and desserts catered by Chefs On The Run. The first 20 realtors in attendance will receive a complimentary gift from the Arts & Crafts period, and a drawing for a $500 grand prize will be held.

The 44 Arts & Crafts styled townhomes in The Residences of Johns Creek Walk are available in three and four-bedroom plans with prices starting at $299,900 and represent a limited opportunity to live in the community. The builder is offering up to $25,000 in “Buyer Bonus Bucks” through the Grand Opening promotion. The municipality of Johns Creek is one of the metro Atlanta newest cities, and in order to help meet the demand for great new neighborhoods there, Atlantic Realty Partners, an Atlanta-based developer of mixed-use communities, is building Johns Creek Walk. Meg Thompson, broker for Johns Creek Walk Realty, which is handling the residential sales there, noted that the community is North Fulton County’s first true live, work and play neighborhood, offering a unique blend of sophisticated manor homes, Arts and Crafts-inspired townhomes, luxury rentals and specialty retail.
The 26-acre community will have a mix of housing choices, including the townhomes as well as custom-built single-family manor homes and luxury apartments with condominium-grade finishes. Amenities currently in place include a swimming pool with outdoor kitchen and cabana, state-of-the-art fitness center, 24-hour Wi-Fi equipped cyber café, business center, pocket parks, pond with ambient water feature, sidewalks on both sides of the streets, park benches, period streetlights and signposts. Brannon Justice is the on-site agent in the sales center, where the telephone number is 678-261-7587. The sales office is open Mondays through Saturdays from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. and 1-6:p.m. on Sundays.
