Isakson Living Enjoys Great Success at Peachtree Hills Place

Isakson Living is not the most aggressive developer when times are good, which is why, as Isakson Living President Andy Isakson put it, they will not go away when times are tough.

Isakson Living’s strong business sense has enabled them to prosper despite the economic troubles. In fact, Isakson Living recently announced their agreement with Colonial Bank to acquire the bank’s equity interest in Peachree Hills Place. This active adult community  provides residents seeking to live a secure, independent lifestyle with great amenities and easy access to a continuum of health care.

Andy Isakson feels confident about it’s deal with Colonial Bank stating, “Colonial is a good bank operating in a tough environment. The acquisition allows Colonial to focus on its core banking business and allows Isakson Living to move ahead with our development plans.”

In addition to acquiring the bank’s equity interest, Isakson Living renewed the financing on Peachtree Hills Place. They contributed $8.5 million in additional equity to pay their current loan down to the amount of $2 million. Isakson Living also posted a deposit for the next year’s interest reserve and set aside $4.9 million for sufficient operating funds for the project.

All in all this mean Isakson Living has ample equity and very little debt. Needless to say this is quite a feat for a builder operating in this economic environment.

Peachtree Hills Place is already over 50 percent pre-sold and 35 more sales are targeted before construction is supposed to start later this year. Isakson points to the customers for theses high numbers. He says their realistic mindset and forward thinking has enabled the builder to prosper.

Overall, Peachtree Hills Place is great residence and an equally great buy for home buyers. They offer services and amenities equal to those of luxury hotels. Plus, the active adult community has amazing health care options and wonderful service. Relocating to Peachtree Hills Place is simply a smart move for all active adults.
