Builders pricing below cost to get rid of inventory has become a common thing. We have been marking down our homes to keep the flow going. I believe the existing standing homes are lower than buyer cost. This is another reason that the market should slowly consolidate. New home building is now below the annual home growth demand. We will have to use up all the over built home to balance the market.
