Through the collaboration of the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association, numerous new home builders and allied organizations, the Get Home Atlanta! campaign is informing consumers on the facts about why now is a great time to buy a home in Atlanta.

One of the top 10 best reasons to buy a home in Atlanta is that interest rates remain low. It is true! Home buyers can still get great deals on 30 Year, 15 Year and other types of mortgage loans with low interest rates. And the best news is that you don’t have to have perfect credit to get a low interest rate. Home buyers with average credit are still qualifying for interest rates around 5 or 6 percent. Lower interest rates mean less payment and more home you can afford, making now a great time to buy!
