Hunt Easter Eggs and Atlanta New Homes this Spring

Atlanta Easter egg huntsSpring is the season not just for Atlanta house hunting, but also Easter egg hunting! Check out these egg-citing egg hunts in the Atlanta area:

Friday, March 22 - Acworth’s After-Dark Easter Egg Hunt at the Acworth Sports Complex at 3883 Old McEver Road. This event is FREE and includes a special needs egg hunt at 7:30 p.m., a skydiving Easter bunny at 8:00 p.m. and 50,000 Easter eggs to hunt after-dark!

Saturday, March 23 – Tolleson Park in Smyrna will be putting a modern spin on a holiday tradition with their Flashlight Easter Egg Hunt. Children will be divided by age group into hunts that will start at dark, and afterwards can enjoy watching “Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted” underneath the moonlight. Registration is $5 per family prior to the event and $10 per family on the day of.

Saturday, March 23 – The City of Alpharetta Recreation and Parks Department’s annual Children’s Easter Egg Hunt will be held at North Park on Softball fields 1-4. The FREE egg hunt will begin at 11 a.m., but the inflatables, exhibitors and Easter bunny will be ready for fun at 10 a.m., so get there early!

Saturday, March 23 – The annual Easter Egg Hunt at the Georgia Governor’s Mansion will be held by Sandra Deal from 10 a.m. to noon. Reservations are required for this fun event, which will include a visit from the Easter Bunny, photos, cupcake decorating, face painting and even a storybook station.

Saturday, March 30 – Atlanta’s Historic Howell Station Egg Hunt will occur at Knight Park at 10 a.m. This FREE event features neighborhood fun with a bouncy house, egg hunt, games, food and more!

Saturday, March 30 – Dust off your bunny ears and hippity-hop on over to Fernbank Museum for the fourth annual Dinosaur Egg Hunt, which is presented in partnership with Radio Disney. Beginning at 9:30, children and families will enjoy age divided egg hunts, museum exhibits, games, giveaways, photos with Giggy A, Dinosaur, temporary tattoos and more. The cost of attendance is $5 with the purchase of a museum ticket.

Saturday, March 30 – Attend an event that is sure to be fun for the whole family in Forsyth County with the 2013 Taste of Forsyth. This event will be held at the Cumming Fairgrounds from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and will include paid tasting samples, age specific egg hunts beginning at 11:30, Kids Zone and more.
