How to Obtain Loans in the New Economy – Special Panel on Feb. 23

If you’re feeling the effects of stricter lending practices, join the Atlanta Green Building Council for a panel discussion on Feb. 23 to learn about lending for custom and speculative home construction in today’s market.

During this event, you will hear an expert panel of lenders and mortgage professionals discuss the following topics:

  • Current lending practices in place today
  • How builders and homeowners can succeed in obtaining funds for new construction
  • What advantages green building practices offer in obtaining funding

This special discussion offers a unique opportunity for you to ask your questions regarding funding and lending practices. You won’t find this level of expertise, information and availability anywhere else!

Panelists include:

  • Mike Starr – Former Georgia Wachovia President
  • Greg Shumate – CEO Brand Mortgage
  • Adam Beckmann – AVP BB&T
  • Jason Payne – Energy Efficient Mortgage Specialist, Structured Energies

The “Financing Solutions and How to Obtain Loans in the New Economy” event will be held at the Southface Home Depot Training Center on 241 Pine Street NE, Atlanta, GA 30308.

The cost to attend is $15 for students; $25 for Green Building Council members; and $35 for non-Green Building Council members. An additional $10 walk-in fee will be added for attendees who do not pre-register.
