HomeAid Seeks Builders for Project Playhouse
Calling all builders in metro Atlanta to take part in HomeAid Atlanta’s signature fundraiser event – Project Playhouse. The non profit organization is currently seeking builders to construct these extraordinary playhouses for the fall. Other than the GA Tech playhouse, they don’t have any other confirmed builders at this point. They are looking for at least one builder for the Avenues Forsyth location and one builder for the playhouse at Terminus, but we would love to have more than one builder at the Avenues. HomeAid Atlanta needs your help to make this year’s event better than ever, and, as the non profit organization for the Atlanta real estate industry, it’s important to show them your support.
The dates for the 2009 Project Playhouse are September 19 through October 10. Last year, the playhouses were on display at Lenox Mall, but this year, in hopes exapand awareness about the fundraiser and HomeAid Atlanta in general, the playhouses will be divided into two locations: the Avenues Forsyth and the Terminus building in Buckhead. The Avenues Forsyth can have up to three playhoues on display and only one at Terminus. At the conclusion of the event, all of the playhouses will be raffled off with proceeds benefiting HomeAid Atlanta. This year we are really excited to have Georgia Tech students participating in the event. As of now, the Georgia Tech students have nearly completed the design of their playhouse and are raising funds for construction costs. The Tech playhouse will be a “special edition” playhouse and will be displayed on campus throughout the 2009 football season.
So, contact HomeAid Atlanta to let them know you would love to construct one of the playhouses this year. Not only will you be helping the homeless population in Atlanta, but as a builder of one of these playhouses, your company’s name will also receive much recognition.
