Holiday Gift Ideas from Georgia State Parks

Georgia State ParksIf you’re trying to beat the holiday rush, you may be doing some early gift shopping. And if you’re trying to come up with gift ideas for someone who loves the outdoors, Georgia State Parks can help. Give your loved ones something fun that encourages outdoor recreation and fitness.

Does your husband or father love to golf? A GreensPass provides unlimited rounds of golf at seven state park golf courses for a whole year. Prices start at $800 for an adult. If you’re looking for a gift for a friend or colleague, Golf Club Membership Cards provide a variety of benefits at nine different courses. These cards make great stocking stuffers and are available for just $25.

For the history buff on your list, a Georgia Historic Site Pass offers unlimited admission to Georgia’s state historic sites. The passes cost $35 per family, $20 per adult or $15 per child. These gifts will offer access to Civil War battlefields, Revolutionary War forts, presidential homes and more.

Do you have friends and family living near a Georgia State Park? If so, a “Friends of Georgia State Parks & Historic Sites” membership is the perfect gift. Each membership includes a free Annual ParkPass, a free night of camping or a round of golf, Historic Site passes and more! Membership levels begin at $50 for an individual and $75 per family. The Annual ParkPass can also be purchased separately for $50 ($25 for seniors 62 and older). These passes allow visitors to get free parking at any park for a whole year.
