Haven Properties Energy Tip: Stop feeling guilty!
A survey by Tiller, LLC, found that 31 percent of U.S. adults admit to feeling guilty in recent years about not living a more environmentally friendly lifestyle. According to the findings, women (36%) are more likely than men (26%) to feel green guilt. Haven Properties says it’s time to stop! Making a difference is as easy as changing one incandescent bulb to a compact fluorescent bulb. If every household in the U.S. did the same, it would have the effect of removing 1 million cars from our country’s roads. You’ll find more ways to reduce your green guilt by reviewing our past Energy Tips or by visiting the U.S. EPA’s Energy Star site.
If you’re in the market for an Atlanta new home, you can ease your green guilt (and your long-term energy costs) by building with Haven Properties. All of our homes are certified to meet or exceed Energy Star and EarthCraft requirements. We build healthy homes, too, thanks to superior air filtration systems and The Cleaner Kitchen, and they’re more comfortable to live in. Plus, our flexible home designs will meet your family’s needs — and your own wants as well. You’ll find our new homes in South Fulton, Forsyth, Cobb, Dawson, Douglas and Cherokee.
