Haunted Houses and other spaces
With Halloween right around the corner, I thought It would be fun to share a Web site that details some of Georgia’s best haunted places. Included in the list are historic sites, such as Barnsley Gardens and subdivisions, such as Marietta’s Hickory Grove. The stories that are told about some of these places will make chills crawl up your spine! I always love a good scare!
On a different note, keep Halloween Safety in mind when Trick or Treating. A few great sites to reference include the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and Halloween Safety online. Halloween is absolutely one of my favorite times of year — you can dress up and beg for candy. What could possibly be more fun?
Some metro Atlanta new home communities have fun ways to celebrate the season. Homeowners at Ascot Realty’s Primrose Creek will celebrate with a BIG Halloween party on Oct. 31. As a family-community with lots of children who want to enjoy the opportunity to dress in costumes and eat as much candy as their parents will allow, Primrose Creek homeowners decided to host a big Halloween Bash for the community. This way, the children can all gather in one place and enjoy the holiday.
The Goblin Gallop at Heron Bay Golf & Country Club in Henry County is always a fun event. In its fourth year, the Goblin Gallop is a 6K run, 1K walk and tot trot to be held Saturday, Oct. 27th at 4:00 p.m. Walkers and runners are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes. The event raises money for Hands of Hope, Henry County’s only free medical and dental clinic. Call 770-507-1344 or visit www.handsofhopeclinic.org.
Happy Spooky Halloween. Be Safe & Have fun.
