About Sales, Inc. has recently achieved a tremendous milestone as the team is celebrating their one-year anniversary. The company started in less than desirable conditions in an unstable housing market, but the Atlanta-based new home sales and marketing firm not only survived the difficult economy, they thrived! Due to the exceptional leadership from Shirley Gary, the founder and president of the company, About Sales, Inc. was able to grow their client base over the past year and establish themselves in the Atlanta real estate industry.

About Sales, Inc. team provides comprehensive staffing, management, closing coordination and marketing services to builders and developers. In its first year, the company focused heavily on sales and marketing of bank-owned and other non-traditionally held properties. This unconventional approach proved extremely smart and successful; in the past year, the company has grown to three full time staff members, multiple accounts across the Southeast, 32 agents and over 400 listings.

The company has also secured sales representation across the Southeast, from Raleigh to Jacksonville, Fla. Shirley attributes this success to being able to reinvent the company to survive in an ever-changing environment and finding their niche and being able to draw on past experiences and relationships with industry professionals.

Shirley is planning a successful second year; she plans to bring on one additional sales manager and double the number of properties and agents in the company. She is also continuing to build a client base and sales representation outside of metro Atlanta. Way to go About Sales!
