Great Opportunity for ULI Members to Showcase Their Expertise
The Urban Land Institute District Council is looking for members to serve as trainers to conduct 30 to 45 minute workshops in various Westside neighborhoods on Saturday mornings.
The “Housing and Jobs” Workshop will include information on economic development, redevelopment, tax implications of BeltLine, displacement, affordable/workforce housing andgreen building. The “Natural and Built Environment” Workshop includes such topics as neighborhood amenities, urban design/compact development, accessibility and connectivity and healthy communities. The “Planning for a Sustainable Community” Workshop includes such topics as neighborhood identity, vision for the future, land use planning and regulatory process, working with developers and community benefit principles.
If you are interested in becoming a ULI workshop trainer, please email Misty Ivie by Monday, July 9 at mivie@uli.org and indicate your proposed workshop topic as well as your background in this subject area.
