Grand Opening Held for Clubhouse in The Orchards of Brannon Oak Farm
Two Grand Opening events were held recently at the new Grand Clubhouse in The Orchards of Brannon Oak Farm, described as The Orchards Group’s largest and “grandest” clubhouse to date. On Thursday evening, May 15, a wine and cheese party was held for current homeowners in the neighborhood. At the event, The Orchards Group’s events planner, Stacy Wheelus, began familiarizing the homeowners with the various activities that she would begin to facilitate, and she asked for residents’ input. Homeowners are already enjoying Couples’ Bridge, Ladies’ Bridge, Bunko Night, Men’s Poker, Dominoes, Saturday Breakfast, Covered Dish Friday, and Movie Night. The clubhouse is also available for homeowners to reserve for special, private events. On Sunday, June 1, the clubhouse and swimming pool were opened to invited guests who have shown an interest in living in an active adult neighborhood. Over 150 people were in attendance throughout the day for a Low Country Barbecue and bluegrass music. Deborah Reahm, a member of the on-site sales team, said those attending said in reference to the Grand Clubhouse, The Orchards Group had “outdone itself” and that the facility is “spectacular”.
The clubhouse features two cards and games room plus a reading den with a fireplace, a large gathering hall (see photo), a fitness center, a gourmet kitchen, and a swimming pool with a large covered seating area and a fire pit. The Brannon Oak Farm neighborhood is located east of Georgia 400 in Forsyth County and is only about a mile from the upscale new Avenue shopping center at Hwy. 141 and Ronald Reagan Drive.
The Orchards of Brannon Oak Farm, which has entrances off both Peachtree Parkway and Majors Road, is The Orchards Group’s largest and most unique active adult neighborhood in Atlanta thus far. The development will ultimately have 218 homes in three separate villages, each with its own distinct product line. Housing choices include ranch condominiums, single family homes, and the builder’s new Arbors Collection of “master on the main” villas, all providing main level living plus additional bedrooms on the main level. Home prices range from the $260,000s to the high $300,000s.
