Golf Community in Griffin Preparing for Third Phase

Phase I in Wesminister Hills is nearly sold out with only three homesites and three homes still on the market, and the sales effort is intensifying in Phase II of Dixon Development’s exclusive golf course community in the Griffin area. At the same time, preparations are in progress for the sales effort and construction in the third phase of the 116-home development. Wesminister Hills, which is offering homes priced from the low $200,000s to the $700,000s in its four phases, is located on North Pine Hill, which runs off Highway 16. There is now a second entrance on Highway 16 which gives direct access to the community from the state highway.

Bob and Rosemary Spence of Metro Brokers/GMAC’s McDonough office, who can be contacted at (404) 843-2500, are handling home sales for the community’s primary builder, Dixon-Alley Builders, a Dixon Development partnership. Ann Roghelia, whose phone number is (770) 616-3109, and Jane Foster, who can be reached at (404) 557-1779, of Lee-Dixon Realty are in charge of lot sales in the community. Homesite prices are $59,000 for those on the golf course, and $55,000 for those not on the course, and lot purchasers have the option of bringing in their own builders, as long as their plans are compatible with the other homes in the community.

Wesminister Hills is located just minutes from the crossroads of Highways 19/41 and 16, which is in the heart of Griffin’s shopping district. This allows residents a desirable blend of city convenience and country charm. Residents of the community have the opportunity to become members of the Griffin Golf & Country Club, a full service country club with swim, tennis, dining and golf.
