Go Green Expo in Atlanta!
If you’re anything like me, your home page is the Mother Nature Network, you subscribe to green living blogs, and you spend hours surfing the Internet for cool eco friendly products and trends. You like to eat organic, you believe in leading a healthy lifestyle, and you recycle… a lot. If you’re anything like me or even interested at all in green building and living, then you need to stop by the Go Green Expo at the Cobb Galleria June 27th and 28th.
I cannot begin to tell you how excited I am to explore the 250 interactive booths, to talk with experts, and to experience first hand the newest green products the market has to offer. Set to be Atlanta’s largest eco-event, The Go Green Expo gathers green builders, food suppliers, designers and many other great products and people under one roof.
For those looking to “green” your home, I would recommend the Go Green Expo be your very first stop. You can easily learn so much about many different kinds of green products for your home including solar panels, organic mattresses, rainwater collection systems, and even a toilet that uses 40% less water.
I also think the Go Green Expo is great because no other places gives you the opportunity to test drive the latest fuel-efficient cars, including the third generation Prius from Toyota. Then, when you’ve driven all you want, head over to the Farmers Market booth and taste some of their delicious organic food that is sure to make you glow with pesticide-free happiness.
Of course, the expo boasts more than food and cars. A number of national eco-celebrities will be present at the Go Green Expo. Oscar-nominated actress, model, author and mom, Mariel Hemingway, will be signing copies of her new cookbook, Mariel’s Kitchen: Simple Ingredients for a Delicious and Satisfying Life.
I could go on and on about the Go Green Expo in Atlanta, but I really recommend you check it out for yourself. Go ahead and take a peak at the future of green living, I’m sure you’ll be pleased.
Open to the public June 27th and 28th. Ten dollars for adults and $5 for kids.

I really am looking forward to this expo. I have waited a long time to see Atlanta catch on to the green movement and it seems that people are getting more and more excited about making a change. I really hope this weekend will prove to be a success!
