Glen Lake Hosts The Biggest Yard Sale in Sandy Springs

It’s shopping season, but because of the economic strain I am sure your spending budget is only a fraction of what it usually is. Well, that’s no problem, it only means that you have to be a smart shopper this season, always looking for a bargain. And what better place to find a bargain than a yard sale? Mark your calendar for Saturday, December 5th because Glen Lake apartments is hosting the biggest yard sale Sandy Springs has ever seen.

Whether you have items to sell or are looking to buy, you do not have to be a resident at Glen Lake to participate. For those that would rather spend the day shopping, the event begins at 8:00 a.m. You will definitely want to get there early in order to have the biggest selection of items.

The best thing about yard sales is that you never know what you are going to find, but whatever it is, it will be steal. Typically items like books, clothes, small appliances, electronics, lamps, games, toys, baby furniture and more can be found at a yard sale.

The Dunwoody apartments will be hosting the event on their newly re-surfaced tennis courts, creating a yard sale that encompasses over 5,000 square feet. The sale ends at noon on Saturday, and it may take the entire four hours to make it through all of the booths.  And remember, Glen Lake is impeccably located near Perimeter Mall. So, if you don’t find everything that you are looking for at the yard sale, just head on down the street to the mall and the surround stores to finish up your shopping.
