Get In the Holiday Spirit with Northeast Georgia Events

Northeast GA Holiday EventsNow that it’s Thanksgiving Day, many families are beginning to look for ways to officially gear up for the holiday season. Lucky for you, there are plenty of fun seasonal events in the Northeast Georgia area.

  • Magical Nights of Lights at Lake Lanier Islands: Join in the fun as they celebrate 20 years of magic. Enjoy beautiful lights displays, an ice skating rink, visits with Santa and his elves, carnival rides and much more.
  • Cornelia City Park will also be hosting their lighted Christmas display from now until New Years Day in addition to the 2013 Apple Drop on December 31.
  • On December 1, Flowery Branch will have their Christmas tree lighting and roll ‘n’ stroll.
  • Holiday Cards to the Troops: Hosted by the Hall County Library System, this event which is in its fourth year will be ongoing from November 26 through November 30.
