The beauty of master planned communites is that they offer price ranges to meet every budget. With homes priced from the high $100,000s or $200,000s to over one million, master planned communites have a variety of home plans, sizes and finishes. With 1000 to 2000 homes per community, the homeowner's fees associated with these oversized amenities are very affordable. For instance, at Heron Bay Golf & Country Club, they are only $425 a year (golf membership is more).

Most people don't know what's good for them, though -- odds are most of the people begging for this lifestyle will go into mountains of debt to afford it, just so they can have added "conveniences". It's pretty sad.
