Friday Night Flight During June at Restaurant Eugene
Every Friday night in June, from 5:30 to 11:30 p.m. Restaurant Eugene is hosting “Friday Night Flight.” For $25 guests are treated to three unique cocktails, which are paired with extraordinary food selections. If you haven’t already checked it out, be sure to do. Sample drinks include the “Sunshine Cocktail,” which consists of Montecristo Rum Silver, Noilly Prat (a staw-hued vermouth), dry vermouth and lemon juice. The drink is coupled with squash carpaccio with salmon confit. Other offerings include a drink being called “Coa’s Edge”, which includes Cazadores Blanco Tequila, cayenne and Galliano, a sweet licorice liqueur. It is served for desert with cinnamon ice cream and toasted almonds.
Located conveniently next to the luxurious Astoria at Aramore building in Buckhead in the historic Peachtree Battle district, Restaurant Eugene and its sister restaurants Holeman and Finch and the H&F Bakery have been making a lot of noise since bursting onto the Atlanta dining scene earlier this decade. Restaurant owner and chef Linton Hopkins has received many honors in the fine dining world including most recently being named a Best Chef Southeast nominee for 2009 by the James Beard Foundation.
