Location, Landscaping and Layout Attract Buyers to Stonehaven Terrace
When Kristi Taylor made her first visit to Bowen Family Homes‘ Stonehaven Terrace, she knew immediately that was where she wanted to live.
“I liked the way the community looked on the outside and I liked the way the townhomes looked on the inside. Once I visited Stonehaven Terrace, nothing else appealed to me,” she said.
Taylor wanted to downsize from a larger home to a townhome but wanted to stay in the area where she was living.
The location, close to GA 400 and just 10 miles from Alpharetta, was perfect and she liked Stonehaven Terrace’s lush landscaping and the community’s 10-acre recreation area. But what sealed the deal was the layout of her townhome and the two master suites on the second floor.
“My home has two large bedrooms on the second floor instead of a large master and two smaller bedrooms in most condominiums. The second bedroom is big enough for furniture and my son, Spencer, has room for his stuff when he visits,” she said.
Located in Forsyth County, just minutes from GA 400, Stonehaven Terrace is a master-planned community of 150 two-story fee-simple townhomes with prices starting at $149,000.
The garage townhomes have two or three bedrooms, three baths and luxury features that include nine-foot ceilings on the first floor, upgraded decorative lighting, ventless fireplaces with marble surround, hardwood foyers, maple cabinets and solid surface countertops in the kitchen and garden tubs with separate showers in the master suites.
“The townhomes are well designed and the amenities are great. The tennis courts are a big draw and Spencer loves the pool,” Taylor said.
Country-club style amenities at Stonehaven Terrace include an Aquatic Center with a Junior Olympic pool and a play pool, a water slide, six lighted tennis courts, a decorated clubhouse with a fitness center, a playground and a multi-purpose field.
A unique feature of the community is the new 1/3-acre fenced-in dog park with a sodded area where dogs can play and benches where their owners can watch them. The dog park offers the convenience of doggie bags and a disposal bin as well as a faucet for filling up water bowls. The area is surrounded by evergreens and flowering trees.
The community has decorative streetlamps throughout out, underground utilities with front and back yard lawn maintenance and garbage pick-up covered by the Home Owners Association fees.
