First Decorated Model Home Opens in McCart Landing

McCart Landing’s first elegant decorated model home is now open, showcasing East Atlanta’s newest swim-tennis community of all-brick ranch or two-story traditional and craftsman-style homes. Styled by Beth Miller of Embellishments in Covington, the model home in the Conyers community is a blend of traditional and transitional décor, designed to appeal to a wide range of buyers.

With homes priced from the $280,000s, McCart Landing offers 17 distinct floor plans with gourmet kitchens with granite countertops and premium wood-stained cabinets, spacious owners’ retreats with fireplaces, fully tiled master baths with spacious spa tubs and oversized secondary bedrooms. Plans include ranch, two-story and master on the main. The decorated model, built by Wes Bonner Homes, is the Washington plan, with a fully finished basement outfitted with a 100-inch projection screen and surround sound. The community’s other builder, Horizon Home Builders Inc., will open its model home later this spring.

When complete, McCart Landing will feature more than 400 homes, a full amenities package with a junior Olympic swimming pool, wading pool, 900-square-foot bath house, 2,800-square-foot clubhouse with men’s and women’s facilities and a full-service kitchen, plus two lighted tennis courts and walking trails. McCart Landing is the only Rockdale County community in its price range on sewer. Located on McCart Road near Exit 84 of I-20, McCart Landing is being marketed by Coldwell Banker American Land Mart Inc. The sales office is open Tuesdays through Sundays from 1 p.m. until dusk.
