Enjoy Piedmont Park Near New Intown Atlanta Real Estate
Metro Atlanta residents will be heading to Piedmont Park in droves this weekend to enjoy the fifth annual Piedmont Park Summer Arts & Crafts Festival! Held Saturday, Aug. 16 from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. and Sunday, Aug. 17 from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m., the festival will be a two-day outdoor event with a focus on the visual arts and plenty of fun for the entire family.
Presented by the Atlanta Foundation for Public Spaces, the festival will showcase the works from 250 local and regional artists, including painters, photographers, sculptors, leatherworkers, metalworkers, glass blowers, jewelers and crafters. It will also offer art demonstrations, live acoustic music, a street market, children’s play area and festival foods and beverages, as well as healthy alternatives.
In addition to the festival, attendees can be part of a hula hoop world record attempt that will take place on Saturday. To register to participate in the event, visit the Sunshine on a Ranney Day booth from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.
