Effective Web site Design Course at the HBA

In this day and age, you cannot be a home builder and not have a Web site. Since I believe that you all know this, we’ll just assume that every one of you has a live Web site where home shoppers can learn more about your company. Thus, the right question to ask is “how effective is your Web site?” Are you satisfied with the amount of traffic your site gets monthly? Do you have a high bounce rate? Do you know what all of these terms mean?

If some of these questions got you thinking and wanting to learn more about web design, then you’ll want to attend next Wednesday’s Atlanta Home Builders Association Class where Carol Flammer and Mitch Levinson will teach you web design techniques to make your Web site more effective. Definitely bring your laptop as this will be a hands-on workshop geared to give you the necessary tools to:

  • Create good content
  • Make the site user-friendly
  • Create a call for action through the site

Without a doubt these three components will draw more shoppers to your site and keep them there longer. So, go ahead and make plans to attend April 1, 2009 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Housing Center in Tucker. You can register online, but do it fast because the online registration deadline is March 30th. The Housing Institute has approved this seminar for three continuing education credits.
