Edward Andrews Homes Sells 100th Home

Atlanta new homes awardsEdward Andrews Homes sold its 100th home in 2013 just before the Christmas holiday, achieving a company milestone and providing additional proof that the Atlanta residential real estate market is making its comeback.

“Selling 100 homes is just the beginning of our litany of objectives to become the leading builder partner in Atlanta for move-up buyers,” said Andy DiMarzio, vice president of sales for Edward Andrews Homes.  “In addition to the amount of homes we’ve sold this year, our revenue and growth have increased markedly over the last three years. This is a major testament to the quality and commitment of sales agents, builders and the Edward Andrews Homes team.”

The 100th home was sold to a family who recently relocated from Pennsylvania to metropolitan Atlanta’s Milton area, where they bought the Long Leaf model in the Lake Haven of Crabapple community.

“I love the outdoor features this home includes,” said Patti Yarborough, the on-site agent. “The covered porch was a big selling feature of this home. Most of our buyers have children, and they all want outside living spaces, whether it’s a fire pit, grill or pool. With Georgia’s exceptional seasons, homeowners today want to extend their entertaining and living spaces for a collective experience that includes the great outdoors.”

Selling 100 homes is not the only feat Edward Andrews Homes has accomplished this year. The builder also won three OBIE awards at the 33rd annual OBIE Awards, presented by the Sales and Marketing Council of the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association. Awards were won for Edward Andrews’ interior merchandising and building design.

Additionally, Edward Andrews Homes was named one of the Top 20 Home Builders in Atlanta by The Atlanta Business Chronicle. The publication’s Home Quarterly conducted a study of the number of homes closed in 2012, and Edward Andrews Homes made the list.
