Residents of Seven Hills, an Edward Andrews Homes shared community in Paulding County, recently celebrated the beginning of spring with their annual Seven Hills Easter Egg Hunt and Spring Festival.
This year’s egg hunt and festival hosted more than 1,000 residents, community members and local businesses, the largest turnout in the event’s history. During the Easter egg hunt, guests collected a total of 5,000 eggs that were dispersed across the expansive Activity Field. Of the 5,000 eggs, 12 golden eggs were filled with movie tickets and gift certificates from Yogli Mogli. Additionally, lucky winner Nick Sawyer received a $100 prize for winning the Edward Andrews Homes jelly bean counting contest.
After the Easter egg hunt and contests wrapped up, families and their children headed to the community amphitheater for the Spring Festival. Dance teams from CK Danceworks entertained the crowd with four performances throughout the day, while “DJ Marvelous” played all of today’s top pop hits. Children jumped around in the bounce house and played with the animals in the petting zoo, a special feature of the event sponsored by Edward Andrews Homes. The zoo had animals of all types, including lambs, goats, geese, chickens, a llama, a pony and a white rabbit – just in time for Easter!
While the children were busy with their fun, parents were encouraged to browse numerous booths set up by local businesses including Custom Wreaths, Pampered Chef, Premiere Jewelry and Scentsy.
