Atlanta Real Estate Forum congratulates Edward Andrews Homes, LLC (EAH) for winning a Gold OBIE in the Community Information & Sales Center/Welcome Center category for Harlow. Presented by the Atlanta Sales and Marketing Council, the OBIE Awards are the premier awards given in the Atlanta new home construction industry.
Like the community tagline, the sales center at Harlow has been designed to offer a true departure from ordinary. Grand-opening in April of 2016 with over 200 in attendance, the sales center concept was implemented in conjunction with Edward Andrews rebranding over the last two years. Down to the bones of the Harlow sales center, the experience is like no other sales center experience. The Harlow sales center is comprised of three triple-wide trailers that were sealed together to create one spacious sales center building and layout, housing a central discovery room, several agent offices and a small design center onsite.
From the stunning hardwood floors and the etched glass sliding doors, to the interactive site tables, kiosks and iPads, the sales center is nothing short of hi-tech meets hi-touch and even more. Prospects are able to learn about the community and available homes through a combination of three custom-designed kiosks, which house flex floor plan technology, videos, Pinterest design boards, the EAH Style Quiz, and community information. The single large site table in the center of the back room houses further information on the community including a large site map, available homes, floor plans, amenities and area information.
The custom-EAH iPad application has also been implemented in the Harlow Sales Center, and hands-on support from the licensed sales consultants rounds out the Harlow experience.The sales center provides private sales offices and a private conference space for contracts to be written and buyers to reconvene in private, and for group meetings to be held. The implementation of a beverage station, a welcome center, surround sound music provide the ambiance, hospitality, and relaxation to the home buying experience. Through its clean, sleek and digitally-oriented design, the Harlow sales center conveys how Edward Andrews is using technology to re-imagine the custom homebuilding experience like no other home builder in the area.
The use of technology demonstrates EAH’s innovation in homebuilding and excites buyers to engage with the unique technology to better visualize their dream homes as it comes to life. The Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association’s OBIE Awards celebrates its 36th anniversary in 2016. The awards began in 1980 and have grown throughout the years to include more than 100 building, remodeling, marketing and personal achievement categories. The OBIE Awards are named after the obelisk shape of the actual award given.
