Last Tuesday night was one to remember for dads and their daughters as they danced the night away at the Valentine’s Day Father/Daughter Dance. Seven Hills, an Edward Andrews Homes’ community, and Christine’s School of Dance teamed up to host the event as a fundraiser for their West Cobb Dance Explosion dance team.
Parent volunteers did a wonderful job transforming the Seven Hills clubhouse into a picture perfect Valentine’s Day ball. There were hearts, flowers, candies and lace, and a party room that provided everyone with plenty of space to dance and twirl. Guests were treated to many surprises, including a horse and carriage ride to escort them from their homes to the event. Upon arrival, the fathers and daughters enjoyed snacks such as hot appetizers, fresh fruit, drinks and a full candy bar, as well as a disc jockey to play all of their favorite dance hits. Each girl even brought home her own goodie bag of candies from the candy bar.
A professional photographer was on hand to capture all of the precious moments between the girls and their fathers, grandfathers, uncles or special friends, where guests could choose from an array of Valentine’s themed props to add some flair to their own personal photo shoot.
