Don’t Forget to Donate Your Items to the SMC Yard Sale

The Atlanta Sales and Marketing Council is still accepting donations of gently used items for the first annual yard sale. You can either drop your items off at the Housing Center in Tucker or at the Atlanta Peach Movers headquarters, but you have to get your stuff in by June 5th. One easy and convenient way to get your items to the SMC is by bringing them with you to the May19 meeting – the first “Party in Style” networking event at InsiDesign Showroom and Studio. Remember, all proceeds of the yard sale will benefit Atlanta non-profit organizations – HomeAid Atlanta and Georgia Canines for Independence – both are exceptional causes. I know that you are cleaning out your house, and it’s much better to donate your unwanted items to this unique event rather than just throwing them away.

And for those that have just recently purchased a new home in Atlanta and are looking for furnishings, the yard sale will be held June 13th and will be open to the public – so mark your calendar. This is such a fantastic opportunity to find everything you could possibly need, from lamps and picture frames to televisions and bicycles, at an amazing price. And, like we previously mentioned, proceeds will benefit Georgia Canines for Independence and HomeAid Atlanta.
