The Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association (GAHBA) fall general membership meeting is being held next Thursday, Oct. 24, 2103. At the meeting, you will be able to hear the latest news on the City of Atlanta’s most comprehensive revitalization development, the Atlanta BeltLine.
The speaker for the event will be Paul Morris, the President and CEO of Atlanta BeltLine, Inc. (ABI). ABI is responsible for the development of the most comprehensive revitalization effort in the history of Atlanta and among the largest, most wide-ranging urban redevelopment and mobility projects in the U.S. This multi-billion dollar sustainable development initiative is providing a network of public parks, multi-use trails and transit linking mixed-use development and affordable housing. By re-using 22 miles of historic railroad corridors circling downtown, the Atlanta BeltLine will effectively connect 45 neighborhoods directly to each other.
The event will be held at Villa Christina, located at 4000 Summit Blvd. in Atlanta. Registration, networking, cocktails and hors d’oeuvres will begin at 4 p.m. and the program will begin promptly at 5:45 p.m.
Tickets are $35 for members and $45 for non-members and there is a $15 walk-in fee for guests who do not pre-register. To register for the event, click here.
