Del Webb’s Village at Deaton Creek Residents Support Needy Families

Village at Deaton Creek’s “Second Annual Scrooge Golf Classic” was a huge success in collecting cash, donations, food and toys for Hall County families in need!  In 2007 the golf classic raised cash, food and toys that were donated through the Hall County Sheriff’s office to many families in need of love and happiness during the holiday season, and this year was no exception.

Although the day began a little on the cold side, everyone was in good spirits to make such a tremendous difference in the lives of local needy families. Hall’s Sheriff Steve Cronic, Georgia State Representative James Mills and Division President of Pulte Homes and Del Webb in Georgia, Alicia MacPhee, and Hall County Commission Chairman Tom Oliver were all on hand to recognize the group’s efforts. The day ended with a fantastic presentation of the donations to Hall County Sheriff’s department. More than a hundred Village at Deaton Creek residents showed support by helping load all of the toys and food.
