Web Interactive Designer Sought
An Atlanta Advertising and Marketing Real Estate firm seeks a Web/Interactive Designer for their in-house creative team. This person will be responsible for all stages of the Web production process. Able to accurately provide detailed quotes, execute wire frames, design graphical mockups and convert designs into compelling user experiences for web and other new media products.
Design and construct strong visual Web sites; incorporating standards including styles, graphics and targeted content. Develop and maintain Flash applications for rich media delivery through Web sites. Design and construct HTML e-mail and other Internet campaign practices for Web sites.
Four years experience in Web design or more.

Sharp Residential to Sponsor ‘Music for Megan’
Sharp Residential’s main focus may be home building, but President Tom Sharp also has a strong interest in helping others in need. On September 28, the Inaugural Music for Megan Charity Benefit Event will take place at Wills Parks Equestrian Center in Alpharetta to raise money for The United Mitochondrial Disease Foundation.
The event is being held in honor of Megan Sheridan, a young girl who has been diagnosed with mitochondrial disease, and Sharp is proud to be a Copper Sponsor for the event. Tickets for Music for Megan are $15 per person or $35 for a family pass, and all proceeds will go to The United Mitochondrial Disease Foundation. Summer Sizzle Sale a Great Success for Bowen Family Homes
Bowen Family Homes enjoyed a tremendous turnout at its Summer Sizzle Sales Event and cookouts held at all 20 Atlanta communities June 23 through July 8. During the three-week sale, 60 homes were sold, and 21 participants received free Weber gas grills. Two lucky guests, a prospective homebuyer from Hanover Place in Alpharetta and a real estate agent who visited Willoughby Cove in the Hamilton Mill area of Gwinnett County, also were awarded $10,000 in the grand prize drawings.
Bowen Family Homes’ employees worked the entire first weekend greeting guests, cooking hamburgers and hotdogs, holding directional signs and registering guests for the drawings. More than 70 employees and their families promoted the Summer Sizzle Sales Event by holding a sign at the Atlanta Braves game on June 22 . During the Summer Sizzle Sales Event, Bowen Family Homes offered low monthly payments, no payments until 2008 or 50 percent off options up to a $10,000 value and $20,000 in designer options.
Real Estate Course in Griffin Begins on Tuesday, Sept. 11
The Coldwell Banker Bullard Advantage School of Real Estate will conduct the 75-hour real estate salesperson’s course in Griffin beginning Tuesday, Sept. 11. The eight-week course is required by the Georgia Real Estate Commission for a person to take the state real estate salesperson’s licensing exam. Held in conjunction with Griffin Technical College, it will be held at at the college at 501 Varsity Rd. in Griffin. (Continued…)
