Trends Don’t Last
Do you ever look back at pictures and wonder, “What was I thinking?!” It’s the time when you give yourself a bold reminder to shop for classic looks. Clothing isn’t the only thing you have to think about when considering “trend management.” Recall the interior housing trends of the 70s. Don’t we all wish an investment as large as a home was timeless?
Today’s market provides plenty of options. How can you be sure that your selection will not fall into a trendy category that will soon be outdated? Look for home styles that survive the test of time. Can you picture your home in a setting 20 years ago, 50 years ago? Will you grow tired of your home in three years?
Craftsman style homes are a wonderful example of a classic style. Craftsman Architecture dates back to the mid 1800’s in Europe and the early 1900’s in America. It has had ample time to develop and beautifully mature into a more efficient product, but the core style has remained true to its history. Drive through Atlanta neighborhoods such as Dupont Commons or Habershal at West Highlands by Brock Built. You will immediately see that these neighborhoods are planned and built with architectural and landscaping styles to last a lifetime.
The Atlanta new homes in Dupont Commons and Habershal at West Highlands are not only classic looking, but they are also an incredible value. Built with a variety of functional, durable, and beautiful material combinations, these homes are now at unheard of prices. Dupont Commons is now selling homes from $274,900! This neighborhood has an incredible amenities package to give you the full feel of a classic neighborhood. Tree lined streets, sidewalks, fire grills and fire pits, a swimming pool, clubhouse, workout room, and parks do so much to enhance the feeling of home in Dupont Commons. Habershal at West Highlands is now selling homes from $199,000!
West Highlands is a community in the heart of the West Side offering expansive green space. Both communities also offer a unique benefit that is hard to pass. Dupont Commons and West Highlands are just 5 minutes from Atlantic Station, Downtown Atlanta, and so much more that Atlanta has to offer.
Now, with your regrettably “trendy” picture in mind, you can ask yourself, “Do I want it all if I can have it all?” If the answer is “yes, I want a classic home that I won’t grow tired of and convenience to Atlanta,” then come out and visit one of Brock Built’s neighborhoods today! The craftsman style has an extremely attractive look. It’s actually a great style to recreate in a renovation as well as a new home. My company takes 2 bedroom houses 1940’s style cottages and converts them to the craftsman style.
They sell well in revitalizing Atlanta neighborhoods.
