As a member of the Artisan Group, an elite, North American network of independent countertop professionals offering the highest quality products, Construction Resources, Inc. announces its participation in the third annual Counters for a Cause event on Friday, Oct. 25 and Saturday, Oct. 26, 2013 to raise money for Homes for Our Troops, a national non-profit that builds specially adapted homes for service members who have been severely injured in combat operations since Sept. 11, 2001.
Hosted by the Artisan Group, the past two events have raised almost $60,000 for the organization, with Construction Resources/Atlanta Kitchen, Inc. being the highest contributor to the fundraiser. Last year, the company donated over $6,500. This year, all Construction Resources’ companies, including Atlanta Marble Mfg, Inc., Atlanta Kitchen, Inc., Atlanta Glass & Mirror, Inc, Builders Floor Covering and Tile, LLC, and, of course, Atlanta Kitchen will be participating.
“We are proud to join this national movement to help consumers accomplish projects for their homes while assisting valued servicemen and their immediate families,” explained Mitch Hires, past board member of the Artisan Group and co-owner of Construction Resources. “Our veterans give up so much to protect us and this is just one way to give back to them.”
During Counters for a Cause, Construction Resources will be offering up to 70 percent off its kitchen and bath products such as custom countertops, bath tubs, vanity tops, shower pans, tub decks, shower doors, bath hardware, specialty products, tile, carpet and hardwood. Name brand products that will be available include Artisan Granite, Bonotti Marble, Cambria, Piedrafina, Heritage Wood, Saratoga Soapstone, Kohler, Corian, Vetrazzo, Shaw, Grohe, Dal Tile, Moen, Coastal, Rubbermaid, Mohawk and more.
Construction Resources accepts American Express, MasterCard, Visa and Discover. Finance packages are available. All clearance sales are final and must be picked up or installed within 30 days. To achieve clearance sale savings, all purchases must be paid 100 percent at time of purchase and contract signing.
“Money raised during the event will help us with upcoming projects for Homes for Our Troops,” added Sonny Hires, co-owner of Construction Resources. “Oftentimes, we install granite countertops in the kitchens and sinks of these homes, making sure they are designed around independence and accessibility.”
