Construction is Underway on Brock Built’s Green House
Here’s one Atlanta homebuilder who is giving back to the community in a big way! Intown Atlanta homebuilder Brock Built, in partnership with WSB-TV, has started construction on Going Green - The Green House. This home, located in the West Highlands community, is being built with sustainable design features that are attainable by most any Atlanta family.
Brock Built as well as many vendors and supplies have committed to donate time, construction materials or services to the Green House. The home will be built to EarthCraft standards and constructed of green building materials. At completion, the house will be auctioned with proceeds benefiting Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.

• Extreme building envelope- super high efficiency building envelope walls, insulation, ceilings, roofs, windows
• Building house to EarthCraft standards
• Energy efficient & will have energy savings
• Solar component
• Rain water collection
• Rain water harvesting
• Drip irrigation
• Some recycled products
• Some local products
• Some renewable products
• Solar panels on the house will feed the grid, has a Ga Power meter, but connection goes backwards
• The home will be priced in the $400s
