Connie Goldman to Discuss Aging in America
Connie Goldman, former NPR reporter and celebrated author, will discuss issues and images of the ageless spirit in America from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on May 16, 2007, at the Atlanta History Center, 130 West Paces Ferry Rd. Her talk is the final offering in the Expressions Lecture Series hosted by Isakson Barnhart, the award-winning developer of residential communities for seniors offering a continuum of care, including Park Springs in Stone Mountain and Peachtree Hills Place in Buckhead. The program is free and open to the public, and free, on-site parking is available.
Goldman is an award-winning radio producer, reporter and former staff member of National Public Radio. She currently devotes her work to programs and projects concerned with issues and images of aging in America.
The author of six books, including The Ageless Spirit, second Edition and The Gifts of Caregiving, Goldman most recently authored Late Life Love – Romance and New Relationships in Later Years.
