Christmas tree reycling near new homes AtlantaNow that we’ve rung in the new year, many families are starting to take down all those festive holiday decorations. One of the biggest dilemmas people face is what to do with their Christmas tree? If you still haven’t found the answer, we may have one for you with the “Bring One for the Chipper” event being held on Saturday, January 5 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Home Depot on Cumberland Parkway and Keep Smyrna Beautiful have once again teamed up for this Christmas tree recycling event. In addition to safely recycling your unwanted tree, participants will also receive a free tree seedling to help keep Smyrna growing! Vegetable and flower seed packets to get a start on your summer garden, and Davey Tree Experts will deliver the free mulch created by the recycled trees.
