Santa’s coming to West Village in Smyrna
Atlanta new home builder Monte Hewett Homes announces a visit by the jolly old elf himself to West Village in Smyrna from 12 to 3 p.m. on Saturday (December 1). The brick paver sidewalks of the traditional neighborhood’s quaint downtown village will come to life with strolling carolers, horse drawn carriages, face painting and crafts as children wait their turn for a free photo and gift from Santa.

Village at Waterside receives LAPA award
The Village at Waterside continues to receive recognition for its support of Lake Allatoona. The community received the 2007 Environmental Stewardship Award from the Lake Allatoona Preservation Authority recently. West Village Named Atlanta’s Development of Excellence
And the winner is…West Village in Smyrna! The Atlanta Regional Commission and the Livable Communities Coalition selected West Village, a 60-acre mixed use community, the region’s Development of Excellence for 2007. West Village is developed by the Pacific Group and includes single-family and town homes by Monte Hewett Homes. West Village won because it exemplifies the policies and practices of ARC’s Regional Development Plan.
