Real Estate Course in Jackson Starts on Monday Night, April 7
The Coldwell Banker Bullard Advantage School of Real Estate will conduct the 75-hour real estate salesperson’s course in Jackson beginning Monday, April 7. The eight-week course is required by the Georgia Real Estate Commission for a person to take the state real estate salesperson’s licensing exam. Held in conjunction with Griffin Technical College, it will take place at the college’s Butts County Campus at 1571 Hwy. 16 West in Jackson. (Continued…)
Patterson Named to Represent MSAR on NAR Board of Directors
Sharon Patterson has been elected to a two-year term as National Association of Realtors (NAR) director by the Metro South Association of Realtors (MSAR). Pointing out that it is an honor to be selected to the NAR board of directors, Patterson will represent MSAR at the 2008 NAR Midyear Meetings and Trade Expo in Washington, D.C., in May and their annual meeing in Orlando in November. BULLARD NAMES RANDY COUEY BROKER FOR JACKSON OFFICE
Randy Couey, who was previously with Coldwell Banker Bullard Realty’s Jackson/Butts County office for seven years, has been named as the new managing broker for the office. Couey (pictured here), who entered the real estate field with Coldwell Banker Bullard nine years ago, has earned the Georgia salesperson, associate broker and broker licenses. He received his training through Coldwell Banker Bullard Faststart, the Barbara Marshall seminars, and the Pamela Ellis “Power Plus” seminar. Heron Bay Golf & Country Club Welcomes Spalding Regional Medical Center
Heron Bay Golf & Country Club will be leasing the available medical services space within its new retail village to Spalding Regional Medical Center who recently partnered with Cornerstone Associates, Inc. Part of Tenet Georgia, Spalding Regional is located in Griffin and serves the medical and heath care needs of Spalding, Butts, Clayton, Fayette, Henry, Lamar and Pike counties. The new retail space at Heron Bay will have 11,192 square feet and will include an urgent care center and four medical office suites with three exam rooms per suite, and is expected to begin welcoming patients in August 2007. The urgent care center will be open seven days a week for walk-in visits for minor emergencies.
