WicksteadWorks Helps Buckhead Family Breathe Easier
Atlanta remodeling company WicksteadWorks is well known for its devotion to green-building practices, and a recent article in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution highlighted exactly how their expertise in green building can benefit the health of homeowners. Basically, you cannot be more of a green building expert than that. It’s probably for this reason that the AJC decided to feature one of his projects in prominent article.
The article focuses on one particular project done by WicksteadWorks on a 1940s cottage, owned by the Fosgates, in the Ardmore Park neighborhood of Buckhead. (Continued…)

Frank Wickstead Receives Green Building Designations
Frank Wickstead, President of Atlanta remodeling company WicksteadWorks, recently furthered his expertise in the green building industry by becoming a Certified Green Building Professional and a verifier for the National Green Building Program. The Certified Green Professional designation recognizes builders, remodelers and other industry professionals who incorporate green building principles into homes, without driving up the cost of construction. In order to receive this prestigious designation, an individual has to complete numerous hours in continuing education, which helps provide a solid foundation of knowledge in green building methods. This is a designation provided by the National Association of Home Builders. Congratulations to Frank because he worked extremely hard to achieve this designation, and it is only a symbol of his expertise in green building.
Another example of Frank’s broad knowledge of the green building industry is the fact that he is now a verifier for the National Green Building Program. As a verifier, Frank will thoroughly analyze different homes to ensure that they meet the criteria of the national green building certification.
