US News and World Report published an article last Friday indicating that the suffering housing market is going to take a turn for the better, possibly really soon. This article is really only reporting what Atlanta Real Estate Forum has been reiterating for the past six months, that home prices are bottoming out, and as soon as homebuyer realize that new homes are now affordable, the housing market will be on the rise. As soon as the inventory homes begin to sell, developers will stop offering the great incentive packages they have now and also stop offering their new homes at such unbelievable prices. Ray Bouley, President of Full Circle Real Estate Marketing, challenged the crowd of builders gathered for the 27th Annual OBIE Awards to get behind “Get Home Atlanta.” Bouley’s rally cry encouraged builders to continue doing their part to strengthen the market with the message that now is a good time to buy a home. Get Home Atlanta! is a $1.4 million media campaign informing consumers of the reasons why now is a great time to buy a home in Atlanta. It is funded by a collaboration of homebuilders, the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association, National Association of Home Builders and allied organizations.
