Bowen Family Homes Brings Back Dollars for Dreams
The popular “Dollars for Dreams” savings event is back! Beginning this Thursday, July 17 and extending through Sunday, July 20, Bowen Family Homes will host the homebuyer incentive program that brought so much success in April. With the “Dollars for Dreams” program, homebuyer that purchase a new Atlanta home at one of Bowen’s communities will receive up to $50,000 to spend on their new home. Buyers may opt to use the money towards a Pottery Barn shopping spree, designer upgrades, down payment/closing costs, free basement on available homesites or to lower monthly payments. In addition, the metro Atlanta homebuilder is offering a drawing for a $5,000 Pottery Barn shopping spree.

eon Sneak Preview Opening Event a Success!
It seems that Atlanta homebuyers are definitely attracted to green built new homes because eon at Lindbergh had a tremendous turnout for their sneak preview celebration on June 28th. Approximately 175 people ventured to the emerging Lindbergh area to find out more information about these new Atlanta condos. While there were many other appealing factors - live music, face painting, delicious food and refreshing beverages - most attendees were most interested in receiving more information about eon at Lindbergh. At the sneak preview event, they were able to tour the model homes and get detailed information about what makes these condos green. eon at Lindbergh is such an impressive development, that 121 of the guests added their name to the registration list to be contacted about purchasing a new Atlanta home at eon.

Street of Dreams Selects an Address at The Georgia Club
Street of Dreams, Inc., the nation’s most popular and prestigious home tour, will pave its way to The Georgia Club next fall. Northeast Georgia’s premier residential golf community will host the home show, which will feature up to six fully furnished custom-built homes with a range of square footage and a variety of home plans. The Georgia Club plans to include homes at several different price points to reflect all that the community has to offer. The Street of Dreams will run for six weeks from September to October 2009.
Attendees will be able to tour the homes built specifically for the Street of Dreams, all located within easy walking distance to promote a fuller experience of the community. Builders will partner with interior designers to transform the homes into a showcase of architectural and interior design trends while reflecting The Georgia Club’s architectural code and distinct style. Atlanta Traffic Solutions
By now, all Atlantans are aware of our traffic problem. A thirty mile commute can take as long as two hours, or even more when a tractor trailer flips over on I-85. But with rising gas prices, sitting in traffic is not just annoying but is becoming no longer economically feasible and Atlantans are looking for answers other than our current limited public transportation system. Well ULI Atlanta received a grant to try and answer these questions and find a workable solution that will make Atlanta a more enjoyable city to navigate. They are holding a conference on July 15th from 7:30-9:30am that will discuss solutions and ways to educate the Atlanta commuter. The discussion will also touch on how the these solutions will affect future real estate use and development.
