Points North is a montly publication dedicated to life on the North side of Atlanta, and, in their most recent issue, announced the grand opening of the first-ever Points North Magazine Signature Home. Carl Seville Serving as Project/Sponsor Coordinator for SBS Showcase Homes
Carl Seville, who is an Atlanta area-based green builder, educator and consultant, has been named to serve as project and sponsor coordinator for The 5th annual New & Renew Showcase Homes Projects for the 16th Annual Southern Building Show and Conference in Metro Atlanta. Scheduled June 4-6, 2009, at the Cobb Galleria Exhibition Center in the Northwest Atlanta metro area, the 2009 Southern Building Show and Conference is the south’s premier event for builders, remodelers, and design professionals. Flammer & Levinson Selected to Speak at IBS in Vegas
mRELEVANCE Managing Partners Carol Flammer, MIRM and Mitch Levinson, MIRM were selected by the National Association of Home Builders to speak on social media and Internet marketing at the 2009 International Builders’ Show in Las Vegas.
Flammer will discuss the effectiveness of social media outlets in selling homes and include tips for using social media sites as part of your Internet marketing strategy. Her submission was one of only 24 topics chosen from more than 250 entries submitted to the National Sales and Marketing Council. Flammer will be the first to ever present social media for home builders at IBS! Flammer’s social media panel includes other industry experts and fellow MIRMs Dina Gundersen, Marketing Director for Monte Hewett Homes, and Kathie McDaniel, Director of Marketing and Advertising for Highland Homes in Lakeland, Fla.
Levinson’s Internet Marketing topic will demonstrate how to effectively evaluate website tracking reports and use this knowledge for competitive advantage and increased sales. His course is sponsored by NextBuild, the technology-focused track of the International Builders’ Show curriculum. Highland Homes’ Kathie McDaniel will present with Levinson.

Active Adult Community in Johns Creek Hosts Grand Opening
Jim Chapman Communities is excited to announce that their newest Active Adult community, Brookhaven at Johns Creek, is near completion. To celebrate the event, Jim Chapman and the rest of his team are planning a series of festivities that will take place from Oct. 16 until the 19 in order to showcase the one of a kind community.
On Thursday, Oct. 16, Brookhaven at Johns Creek will host “Margaritas, Models and Meet the Artist” for all local real estate agents from 4 until 8 p.m. This will be a unique opportunity for agents to get a first hand look at the four exquisite model homes as well as the 5,000 square foot clubhouse.
