Beltline Bonds Approved by City of Atlanta
One of the most ambitious green projects Atlanta has ever conceived (The Beltline) is now set to move forward thanks to the Atlanta City Council’s vote this month to approve the sale of $117 million in bonds to fund the project. The total project expense is estimated to be $2.8 billion.
The Beltline project will combine greenspace, trails, transit and new development along 22 miles of historic rail segments that encircle Atlanta’s urban core, linking development, transit / trails, and greenspace in ways that transform existing intown areas into vibrant mixed-use and pedestrian-friendly urban environments.
Here’s a brief overview of what the beltline will bring to our city.

Brock Built Green House Open for Tours
Saturday, August 23 will be the first day the Brock Built Green House is open to the public for tours and for interested buyers to view the unique green features of this home. The home will be open on Wednesdays and Fridays from 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm and on Saturdays from 11:00 am - 5:00 pm until October 3rd.
Hours and hours of hard work and craftsmanship have gone into this beautiful EarthCraft certified home located at 1536 Craftsman Drive in Atlanta.
The home will be auctioned off to the lucky highest bidder! The auction will take place online and will begin at $350,00 and will run from September 17th until October 3rd. All proceeds will benefit Children’s Health Care of Atlanta which is a not-for-profit organization that provides exceptional health care to children in need. Ansley Parkside participates in the 25th Annual National Night Out Event
Ansley Parkside was honored to participate in the 25th Annual National Night Out earlier this month at Ansley Mall. National Night out is a drug and crime prevention campaign that involves citizens, law enforcement agencies, civic groups, businesses, neighborhood organizations and local officials from over 10,000 communities in all 50 states, U.S. Territories, Canadian cities and military bases worldwide.
The Atlanta National Night Out Event this month was planned by the Piedmont Heights Civic Association and the local police and fire departments. Many retailers from the mall were present to meet neighbors and hand out information about their goods and services. There was also food, live music and a fire truck from station #29 for the kids to play on!
Ansley Parkside, a donator of the event, was present with signage, flyers, and registration for two prizes to be drawn - both $50 gift cards to CowTippers restaurant! Sera Townhomes Model Coming Soon
